Deep foundations on land and in water

At Corporativo Costa Afuera (COCOA) we build deep foundations with bored piles and driven piles for structures on land and over water, from our base in Tuxpan, Veracruz.

Our work includes bored pile foundations for a car dealership, the foundation and substructure of a bridge over the Tuxpan River, and pile installation for bridges and wharves. We drive piles in wharves, basins, bays, lagoons, rivers and at sea.

Bored piles

Deep foundations on bored piles for buildings, such as the NISSAN dealership structure in Tuxpan.

Bridge foundations

Foundation and substructure of river bridges, such as the El Ojite road bridge over the Tuxpan River.

Pile installation

Lifting and placing piles and girders with our own cranes, as on the Tampamachoco bridge.

Pile fabrication

Pile fabrication, foundations and piling, as in the Termigas wharf construction in Tuxpan.

Pile driving from the water

Crane barges and self-elevating platforms as a work base for piles in wharves, lagoons, rivers and at sea.

Marine site investigation

The CLON self-elevating platform was built to support soil mechanics work at marine sites.

How we quote your deep foundation

With the structural design and the soil study we prepare the proposal.

  1. Review of the structural design and geotechnical report
  2. Site visit: land or water access
  3. Foundation type: bored piles or driven piles
  4. Selection of cranes, barges or jack-up platform
  5. Technical and commercial proposal
  6. Foundation works and handover to the next trade

Frequently asked questions

What kind of deep foundations do you build?

Deep foundations on bored piles and driven piles, on land and in water: buildings, bridges and wharves.

Can you build bridge foundations in a river?

Yes. We built the foundation and substructure of the El Ojite bridge over the Tuxpan River and the foundation of the Tampamachoco bridge.

Do you work with concrete foundation piles?

Our crane barges lift and place concrete, steel or timber piles. On the Termigas wharf the scope included pile fabrication.

Do you do pile driving?

Yes. We drive piles in wharves, basins, bays, lagoons, rivers and at sea. For sheet piles we have our own vibratory hammer.

What do you need to quote?

The structural design, the geotechnical report, the location and the target date.

Need a deep foundation?

Tell us about your project

Let us know the type of structure, whether the work is on land or in water, the type of piles, the location and the target date.
