It was manufactured to assist in work such as soil mechanics, electrical logging in oil and lake wells, placement work for marine and underwater structures, as support for diving work, beach recovery and piling for securing effluent pipes to the sea.

This is the first built in Mexico for the service of companies dedicated to carrying out studies of Soil Mechanics, Underwater Works and Marine Construction.

Main Uses

Soil mechanics
In soil mechanics work, the drilling equipment is placed on the platform to obtain geological samples of the subsoil, and with the stability and safety obtained by not being balanced by the effect of the waves, a period of work with 100% effectiveness in the work and thus avoids damage to the soil mechanics equipment.
Work on studies of oil wells in lake areas
In this type of work, it is of utmost importance to maintain the oil wells that are located in lake areas, lagoons, swamps, rivers in optimal production conditions, since after the equipment that drilled them is removed, there is no other equipment that can do so. the work when the well is in production.
Placement of marine and underwater structures
In these works that are carried out in areas near the beaches, it is impossible to use any boat that is afloat, that is not affected by the waves.
Beach recovery
They are placed on the material bank, which in the most common case does not exceed 500 meters in length of the beach to be recovered and thus, with the equipment that the platform has on the deck, the sand is pumped to its original place without no interruption due to storm surges, or shallow draft at the extraction site.
DREDGING
They can carry out dredging work in conflictive areas due to waves and tides using their crane arm as a support for the dredger pump, with or without a cutter and it is of utmost importance for dredging channels of Hydroelectric and Nuclear Stations, they can be placed at the entrance of the channels with the complete security of not being affected by their waves, giving this great performance, even in drafts of 1.5 meters.
Construction of effluent pipelines to the sea
This work begins on the beach and ends inside the sea. Basic work is carried out from the deck of the platform, for the underwater joining of the pipe flanges, as well as the placement of ballasts and piles to guarantee the fixing them to the seabed.
With the CLON you can carry out the work without loss of time due to ocean currents and waves, which cause storm surges that put work programs at risk, causing delays that represent extra costs not considered in the projects.
